ADDINGTON SCHOOL SPORTS. The Addington School swimming sports were held yesterday afternoon. There was a large attendance of parents and children. The entries were large, and the various events were keenly contested. Mr Burns and the headmaster acted as judges. The following arc the results:— Boys’ Championship, 50 yards—G. Burford I, E. At the Kaiapoi Baths last evening the Kaiapoi Club held a race for schoolgirls and a boys’ relay race, with the following results; — j 25yds Schoolgirls’ Race.—First heat: M. Purdy scr 1, T.
