ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
TREE-FELLING ACCIDENT. Press Association. TAUMAEUNUI, March 14. Charles White, aged 42, was killed by a falling tree while working on contract in the bush at Mananui. An inquest was held at Cheviot on Wednesday, before Mr J. Gibson, J.P., Acting-Coroner, concerning the death of Thomas Morris Taylor. The jury returned a verdict that deceased met his death by falling from a dray while in a fainting fit, the fall dislocating his neck.
