LEAGUE FOOTBALL.

ADDINGTON CLUB. The sixth meeting of the A<l<iington League Football Club was held on Wednesday, Mr McCullough presiding. Prior to the commencement of business, the meeting was temporarily adjourned as a tribute of respect to the members of the club who had been killed in action. The annual report stated that the season had been a very successful one. Nineteen members had enlisted with the Expeditionary Forces, of whom three had made the supreme sacrifice. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of ill odd, with no liabilities. The report and balance-sheet were adopted.
