LEAGUE FOOTBALL.

ADDINGTON CLUB. The sixth meeting of the A<l<iington League Football Club was held on Wednesday, Mr McCullough presiding. Prior to the commencement of business, the meeting was temporarily adjourned as a tribute of respect to the members of the club who had been killed in action. The annual report stated that the season had been a very successful one. Nineteen members had enlisted with the Expeditionary Forces, of whom three had made the supreme sacrifice. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of ill odd, with no liabilities. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. Tlie sixth animal meeting of the Unwornl League Football did) was held on Wednesday, Mr A. E, Hooper presiding. As a tribute of respect to their members who have been killed in action, the meeting was temporarily adjourned, the chairman slating that Use country, relatives, and dull regretted the loss of some fine fellows. The report stated that, though the dull had not been successful iu any of the respective competitions, tlie younger members l>ad to 1111 the vacancies of -12 members on active service, of whom three bad been killed in action and 15 wounded.
