Nor does it seem to have occurred to you that, in addition to the hall hearings, the statue might he mounted like a gun and made to appear and disappear at short intervals. The spectacle of a phosphorescent Godley rising from the ground on dark night'- . would he decidedly impressive, and of great moral value when 10 o'clock closing comes in again.
