LADY LIVERPOOL DEPOT NOTES.
I The Depot has been unusually busy during tin- past week getting various shipments dispatched. Many hundreds of rases" are handled in the course of a few days, and being often very heavy ones, only men can deal with them. We should like one or two ■lore men to volunteer and come to our assistance. The case* containing foodstuffs were this week sent to France, Kgypt, and Mesopotamia, and anothi r case containing footballs, boxing-gloves, and musical Instruments was fent to the O.C. F Company. Xlrd Reinforce■lent, ut Tauhrrenikau Camp. Any more sporting material that may conn in we shall gladls send to the camps. Vrs Smith's I'oin t'oni Pierrot Concert Party are continuing to do splendid work, and are meeting everywhere with the greatest sucoss. On Monday nicht next, at the Opera House a concert will he given in aid ol the Trench Comforts Fund. The High Commissioner, Sir Thomas Mackenzir, has written acknowledging the receipt by prisoners of war in (iermany of several of our parcels, and Reg. Doxies, who Is a prisoner of war In Turkey, has also written expressing his gratitude for a parcel which had recently reached him. In'sending to Mesopotamia, it has heen our custom to post the parcels to individual soldiers, L and this method has hi en found to he most satisfactory. lierchiefs.
