The financial statement showed that the receipts for the month had been ■ £::12 IS/7, and there was a ereditibalance of £92 2/3. Accounts amountling to £1 10/G were passed for payment. :Tlie statement was adopted. The Heathcote County Council wrote Istating that the matter of the Colombo I Road bridge which had been described I'.y the association as dangerous, was at ipresent under consideration by the local 'bodies concerned. Tiic letter was received. A leiter was read from the Spreydon ißorough Council stating that in connection with the association's letter in I reference to the Lincoln Road bridge, llhe Mavor and a councillor had visited Ithe place, an.l had decided that there ! was no danger to a competent driver |on this bridge. A member present expressed (lie view that this was right, ■and it was decided to write to the i council thanking the Mayor and councillors for their trouble in the matter. The Waipara County Council wrote lacking the association for financial | assistance in improving the main road through to Cheviot. It was decided to consult the Public Works Department on the matter. ! The Xew Zealand Automobile Union | wrote stating that the annual meeting ! would be held in Wellington ou July The Roads Committee submitted a
