MESSAGE TO FARMERS. Sir James Allen this afternoon issued an appeal to farmer reservists to take advantage of llic scheme for having their farms carried on while they are on active service, instead of selling out, as if is essential that the productivity of the country in grain and stock must he maintained. FENDALTON SCHOOL. Mr G. Witty, M.P., has been informed by the Minister of Education that that Cabinet has approved his recommendation to make a grant of Jl)<>2 10/-, which represents half the Government valuation of the two acres adjoining the I'endalton School, which Mr -- 'Witty had asked should be acquired as an addition to the present school ground. COURT MARTIAL. WELLINGTON, March 13. A court martial to-day found five men not guilty of insubordination. c ■
