■ •- ANNUAL CONFERENCE. Press Association. DUNEDIN, March 12. The annual conference of the United Fire Brigades' Association was opened at Balclutha to-day. The report stated that the excess of assets over liabilities was £392 14/7, against £576 10/4, last year. The membership now totalled 135 brigades.
