T)r Ileim, leader of the Bavarian peasants, writing to the newspapers, says that it would be better for Germany frankly to tell the truth regarding the food situation than to continue work on a wrecked system. There are still 120 days before the new harvest. Even if hunger brought peace to-morrow it would be many months before Germany could get corn, owing to the bad crops.
