LOSS OF IRLES ADMITTED. A. and N.Z. Cable Association and Reuter. Admiral!!/ per Wireless Press. (Received March 12, 12.40 p.m.) LONDON, March 11. A German official message states: There has been infantry fighting at Irles (four miles west of Bapaume). Our rearguards withdrew' to our main position. French attacks between the Avre arid the Oise were unsuccessful. We sanguinarily repulsed renewed French attacks at Hill 185 and on both sides of Champagne Farm.
