Since General von Mackensen's successes in Rumania, German newspapers are growingly averse to any ultimate relinquishment of territory. Herr Spahn, leader of the Centre, in a speech in the Reichstag, stated that the Germans -want guarantees that peace terms will include an extension of territory. The "Leipzigev Zeitung" states that it is essent. 1 to Germany's existence that neither Belgium nor Serbia be reconstructed.
