Mr Lloyd George has interviewed Sir Edward Carson, Lord Cecil, Mr Austen Chamberlain, and Mr Walter Long. It is announced that Mr Herbert Samuel (Postmaster-Gen-eral in the Asquith Ministry) has declined an invitation to join the Cabinet. It is rumoured that Mr Michael Sadler (Chancellor of Leeds University, who has held several offices under the Education Department) will become Secretary of-the Board of Education. Sir Albert Stanley, managing director of several London electric lines, Lord Devonport, iand' Mr Hichens, chairman of Cammell, Laird, and Co., Ltd., are among the business men likely to he included.
