SERBIANS STEADILY PUSHING ON.
FURTHER ADVANCE EAST OF THE CERNA. ENEMY PRECIPITATELY DRIVEN FROM HEIGHTS. Australian and X.Z. Cable Association. (Received December 8, 9 a.m.) LONDON,. December 7. The '"Daily Telegraph's'' Salonica correspondent states that, pursuing their advantage north of Grunista, the Serbians have crossed the River Grazeshnitza. Though the weather was most unfavourable, the Serbians did not cease active operations for a single day. After attacks extending over six days and nights a final desperate assault carried the whole series of strongly-fortified heights, the Bulgarians and Germans flying in disorder, and leaving seven guns and many prisoners. The total of guns captured is now 79.
