Mr Ward Price, writing from the Near East, says:— : '\Ye must remember that the Allies in the Balkans are holding a front 250 miles long. The terrain is more difficult than in any other theatre of Avar. "The Allied offensive is being carried out wifh forces much inferior to those of the enemy.''
