FALKENHAYN MAY TAKE COMMAND.
LINE OF ADVANCE OPEN THROUGH SERBIA. By Cable. — Frcss Association, — Copyright. " The Times'' Service. (Received December 8, 12.40 p.m.) LONDON, December 7. "The Times," in a leading article urging the need for promptly dealing with the Greek danger, says:—"The disappearance of "General von Falkenhayn's name from the German official reports is of sinister significance. The Serbian railway system is at his disposal, and it is not difficult to perceive where he will next emerge. "The Allies operating from Salonica are holding an extended, and possibly vulnerable, front. "Our military intelligence appears to be faulty. We have been told that the Greek Army is inefficient and badly equipped, but it has now been revealed as sufficiently numerous formidable to exercise a serious influence on the position in Macedonia."
