NORTH OF MONASTIR. FRENCH PUSHING ON. A. «/i<i .Y.Z". Cable Astociation and Iteuter. LONDON, November 24. A French communique says:— North of Monastir, where the enemy has been reinforced, he is desperately resisting. Violent counter-attacks failed. We have advanced to the outskirts of Hotesovo. Our aeroplanes bombarded enemy encampments in the Topolans and Prilep regions. Two enemy machines were brought down in the Drama district. THE SERBIAN ADVANCE. STRONG OPPOSITION OFFERED. Australian and A'.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, November 24. A Serbian communique says:— There was fierce fighting on November 21 and 22 along the whole front against fresh German forces. Nevertheless, the Serbians in places advanced northwards, repulsing coun-ter-attacks. The area liberated in Serbia is now 1200 square kilometres. THE ITALIANS' PART. SEVERAL SUCCESSES. A. and N.Z. Cable Association and Renter. LONDON, November 24. An Italian Macedonian communique says:—ln the mountains west of Monastir we repulsed a violent attack from Mount Muza, then, advancing to the north, we captured the heights south of Bradsndal.
