The Railway notify an alteration in the midday train time-table —Christchurch to Raugiora and the afternoon Ashburton-Christohureh train time-table. The Waimairi County Council invites applications for a ranger. To-day offers the last opportunity to purchase a Wilding Memorial art union ticket. The Public Works Department invites tenders for the manufacture and delivery of roller bearings for the Westshore bridge, Napier. A list of meetings of ratepayers, to be held in connection with the £60,000 electricity loan, is advertised. Applications for five school nurses for the Education Department are invited. The Sumner Borough Council notifies that 10 per cent, will be added to rates remaining unpaid after December 19. Applications are invited for the position of manager of the D.1.C., Christchurch. The New Brighton Flower Show, in aid of the Red Cross Funds, will be opened at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29. Craddoek, McCrostie Co., Ltd., will sell by auction, on Tuesday next, at 1 p.m., the residue of the furniture and effects of '' Mona Vale.'' The Selwyn Plantation Board invites applications for the position of overseer. Train arrangements in connection with the Patriotic Rose Fete at Christchurch on December 2 are advertised.
