A SCHOOL OF PERSONALITY.
A school of personality is the lasi j word in American novelties, and from! all accounts it seems to be regarded with ! the usual gravity that is meted out l»yi the average Yankee to every new fad,] or oil idea with a new name, that is served up to him. The ".Sea rim's". School of Personality undertakes to inspire its students with "wholesome and beautiful ideals of efficient woman-1 hood." It is situated at Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and its prospectuses tell of' its hundred acres of grounds, including i pine groves, and its thousand feet of seashore, and the. mild, healthful climate of the locality, as important as-1 sets for tho development of the stu-1 dents' characters. Hygiene anil morals | are particularly observed for their results upon health, character, and iuitia-i five. To qualify for a personality di- : ploma, there are various courses open, including gymnastics, music, handiwork, domestic science, horse-riding, household arts, French, German, and Spanish, under native teachers, and secretarial i courses. The idea is that, a graduate! from Sea Pines will be just an or-! dinary educated woman. She will scintillate as an individual personality, i It seems to be the usual American idea of "turn 'em out while you wait,! any pattern, any class; but the show is run on a system, so it must be correct !''
