Mr Massev and Sir Joseph Ward are conferring with the Government in connection with the Imperial Government's notification of" its intention to requisition all New Zealand wool. They hope to have completed the business part of their mission within the week. Thereafter the party will visit Scotland, Ireland, and the English provinces. Mr Massev will receive the freedom of the City of York. SEIZURE PREDICTED. THE BASIS OF PRICES. [Special to The Sun.] WELLINGTON, November 9. Although no delinite information is available on the subject, there is a persistent report locally that fhe Government, on behalf of the Imperial authorities, is going to commandeer the wool clip. The report is given colour by the cablegram from London concerning - the negotiations between Mr Lloyd George and the New Zealand Ministers. It is assumed that if the wool is taken, prices will be based on thos* prevailing at the sales.
