RED CROSS SALES DEPOT.

The URiml week-end pale of homemade foodstuffs, etc. will take place at Ihe Depot, Cathedral Square, on Friday night and Saturday morning. The sale will be in charge of the ladies of the Avonside Red Cross Branch. There will lie on offer n large supply of cakes, fruit pies, meat pies, eggs, poultry, jams, fresh meat, bacon, fruit, vegetables, and spring flowers. The competition for a musical box, conducted by Mrs Davies, was won by Frank Fantham. The winner of the rag mat was Mrs S. Orchard. The Depot is very short of fruit and vegetables, and any contributions, large or small, will be welcomed.
