"OUR DAY" TOURNAMENT. A GOOD SUM RAISED. As a result of Hie pulf tournament pro* moted by the Christrhurch I-adies' Club in supi>orl of the 'Our Day" Fund, a sum of approximately £IOO was realised. The tournament concluded yesterday, when soma excellent contests were witnessed. In the morning the semi final of the championship was played, and also a foursome bogey handicap. In the afternoon the final of the championship was decided, Miss A. Humphrey:* proving the winner, and there were also" held putting and flag competitions. Following were the results of the championship semi-final: — Miss A. Humphreys beat Miss Cotton, 3 up and 3 to play. .Miss Helmore beat Miss Wilson, 1 up at the 20th bole. In the Hnal Miss A. Humphreys beat Miss Helmore, 2 up. The game was very close all through, and both contestants gave excellent exhibitions. The foursome bogey handicap was won by Mesdames Green aud Louisson (handicap 22), G down. The flag competition was won by Mb* D. Humphreys, and the putting competitlua by Miss Anderson.
