~, , —.-_» AN UNSUCCESSFUL EXPERIMENT. | RAROTONGANS ALL RIGHT. [From our own Parliamentary Reporter.] WELLINGTON, July 21. In the House of Representatives today Mr C. H. Poole (Auckland West) called attention to a statement that I no more Niue Islanders were being! brought to the Dominion for train-' ing, and asked if the Minister would make a statement regarding the future policy of the Defence Depart-: ment with respect to the Islanders. The Hon. J. Allen said he did not; think it wise to accept any more; Nine Islanders, the reason being that j they might have to go to a climate not suitable for them. However, he I thought it was rigid lo have made the experiment. The Karotongans were all right.
