DAYLIGHT SAVING.
ADOPTED IN BRITAIN. By Cable. — Press Association. — Copyright. LONDON, May 7. If Parliament on Monday approves, daylight saving will operate from next Sunday to Ihe second Sunday in October. The railways will mainlain their present schedules. A HUGE SAVING. THREE MILLIONS YEARLY. (Received May 9, 9.10 a.m.) LONDON, May 8. It is estimated that England will save £3,000,000 yearly by the adoption of the daylight saving scheme.
