SCHOOL COMMITTEES.

WOOLSTON. The monthly meeting of the Woolston School Committee was held last night, there being present: Mesdames Newton and Me.larrow, ami Messrs Rouse (chairman), Wright, Gimblett, Ramsay, Ballantyne, Price, ami the Rev. J. Roberts (secretary). Correspondence was reeeived from the Education Board intimating that it had been deride.l to grant £2-j to the committee for the purpose of erecting a sheltershed at the school. It was decided to leave the matter in the hands of n special committee, consisting of the chair man. secretary, Miss White, and Mr Ramsay, to attend to. It was decided not to affiliate with the School Committees' Association this year. A special committee, consisting of the chairman, secretary. Mrs Newton, ami Mr .1. 11.
