HORTICULTURAL SHOW.

AMBERLEY. The Amberley Horticultural and Chrysanthemum Society held its annual show on Saturday, when there was a good attendance. The general entries, although not so numerous as in previous years, made an excellent display. Mr P. Wornall entered his blooms which were exhibited at Christchurch, and Ihey were successful in gaining first awards. New exhibitors were Mrs Trail, Mr J. Moore, and Mrs G. Jamieson. The judges were:—Woodwork, Mr J. Osborne; flowers, Mr W. Bayliss; cookery, Miss Beck; farm produce and vegetables, Mr Birch; dairy produce, Mr .1. J. Henry; home produce, Miss Busch; fruit, Messrs Bayliss and Birch. The officers were:—President, Mr W. A. Nicholls; treasurer, Mr W. C. Holton; and secretary, Mr P.
