HORRELVILLE.
From Our Own (lorrespondtnt. The Young Men's Bible Class gave a farewell social on Thursday eveuing to Rifleman G. Dennis, its first memberto leave for the front. A large number of friends attended at the invitation of the boys. Musical and elocutionary items were given by Mesdames Blackmore and Forrest, Misses Thompson and Keatly, Messrs Adams, .Tones, and Sheat, and Masters "Walter Ironside and John Bairagi. The class leader spoke words of congratulation and farewell, and presented the guest with a bodybelt, fountain pen, and writing outfit. The chairman (Rev. J. F. Martin) gave a recruiting speech, urging those who should go to get under the colours as soon as possible. Rousing cheers were given for Rifleman Dennis.
