THE NATIONAL PARTY. SIR EDWARD CARSON INDIGNANT. LONDON, December 2. Sir Edward Carson states that the alleged formation of a National Party is entirely without foundation. Sir Edward Carson regards it as a regrettable that he "cannot converse in the House of Commons without evoking impertinent gossip." NEAR EAST AND DARDANELLES. A DEBATE REQUESTED. LONDON, December 2. In the House of Commons, Mr A. Lynch (Nationalist) asked Mr Asquith if any opportunity would be given, to debate the military and diplomatic disposition which led to the present position in the Near East and the Dardanelles. ' - Mr Asquith said that life would consider the matter, but would not give any indication as to his probable course.
