COLONIAL SOLDIERS* ACTION. QUESTIONS IN THE HOUSE OF COMMONS. (Received December 4, 8.25 a.m.) LONDON, December 3. In the House of Commons Mr F. W. Jowett (Labour) referred to colonial soldiers breaking up the anti-eonseription meeting at the Albert-Memorial Hall. Sir J. A. Simon said the police had attended the meeting, but 'were not called on to deal with any breach of the peace. Mr A. A. W. H. Ponsonby (Liberal) asked if it were not contrary to regulations that uniformed soldiers should incite to violence. &r J. A. Simon said that such a question should be addressed to the War Office. He had had no information that soldiers were called upon to lead the mob.
