A NOTABLE WEDDING.
MR ASQUITH'S DAUGHTER MARRIED. By Gable.—Press Association.—Copyright. (Received December 1, 10.5 a.m.) LONDON, December 30. The Archbishop of Canterbury officiated at Miss Violet Asquith's marriage at Saint Margaret's, at which diplomatists, members of Cabinet, and members of both Houses were present. The interior of the church was beautifully decorated with orange blossoms and an immense crowd outside gave an ovation to the bride and her father on arriving. The King and Queen gave the bride a brooch with the royal ciphers and the crown.
