NEW FREEZING WORKS.
CHRIStCHURCH MEAT COMPANY. * Press Association. WANGANUI, Sept. 2. A slaughtering license was granted last night to the Christchurch Meat Freezing Coy in connection with the establishment of the new works here, tenders for which will be called within a fortnight. The directors have decided to include a preserving plant in the works. McLean and Coy's tender was accepted by the company for the erection of 800 feet of jetty from the works at which produce will be loaded into lighters for transhipment to the Home boats. .
