The "Times," in a leader entitled "Asiatics and the Dominions," says that oversea peoples hold, with a tenacity characteristic of the race, that Asiatic immigration on any large scale is likely to be an obstacle to progress on British lines. The day of final settlement is not yet, but till it comes, oversea peoples must not be allowed to doubt that they are secure in the mastery of their own house.
