LATE COMMERCIAL.
PROPERTY SALE. The property of the late Mr John N. Hartnell, near Hororata, was submitted at auction this afternoon by the New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Association, acting in conjunction with Messrs H. Matsou and Co.. The following are the sales: —
Lot' 5 on sale plan, 24 acres. —Bidding opened at £2O per acre, and ran quicfily to £26. E. A. Felton being the buyer at that figure. Lot; No. 3, 46a Or 9p:.-Bidding commenced at £9 per acre and ran up to £l2 10/-, the buyer being Mr L. Derrett. Lot 1, 57a 2r"op, was started at £l2, and again started at the same figure, with the option of Lot No. 2 of 75a 2r 14p. jßidding finished at £l2, the trustees intimating that £ls per acre was required. ; r Lot 4, 77a lr 15p, all in grass, opened at £7 per acre and rose to £ls 5/-, at which price it was secured by Mr L. Derrett.
Lot 6, 103 a 3r 25p, with house and sheds, started at £4, and went to £7 10/-, Mr T. "B. Jones buying. Lot 12, 72acres, heavy country, started at £ls. At £24 a client of Matson's took the bidding on by 5/-, and Mr G. Derrett bought at £25 5/-.
