The firemen of the Corinthic held a billiards tournament, in the King George V. Institute, Lyttelton, yesterday. W. J. Ellis was the winner.

The Mayor lias received £2 2/- from Miss Gwen Fenwick and £1 from Master Christopher Fenwick in aid of the Home for consumptive children. At the Cambridge Court this morning a Territorial was fined 30/-, and had to pay costs amountiug to 14/- for bringing intoxicants into the camp which is being held there. —Press Association.
