A UNIVERSITY MATCH.
NORTH ISLAND v. SOUTH.
A cricket match between representatives of the 'Varsity Colleges of the North Island and of the South Island will be played in connection with the New Zealand University tournament, which is to be played in Christchurcli at Eastertide. The game will be played in Hagley Park on the Tuesday and Wednesday following Easter Monday. HORSNALL CUP MATCH. The final challenge cricket match for the Horsnall Cup resulted in the Monck's Bay team beating Redcliffs by five wickets. Redcliffs' first innings produced only 12 runs, of which M'Donald made five not out, and the second innings 86 (Hooper 21). Monck's Bay scored 46 (Hawke 26 not out), and 56 for five wickets (Cookson 30).
