ROSE CARNIVAL.
Last night there was a full attendance of members of the Schedule Committee of the Domain Rose Carnival, Mr S. A. Staples presiding. It was agreed to offer a trophy valued at three guineas for the best exhibit of 12 roses selected from prize-winning stands at the Metropolitan Show of the National Rose Society by Mr Edward Mawley. The list is:—Frau Karl Druschki, Dean Hole, Mildred Grant, Bessie Brown, Mrs John Laing, Lyon Rose, White Maman Cochet, Madame Jules Gravereaux, Mrs Edward Mawley, Maman Cochet, Mrs Foley Hobbs, Souvenir de Pierre Notting. Messrs J. Rogers, J. T. Sinclair, and 0. Drurie were appointed a committee to review the schedule.
