OUR NEW SERIAL.
"THE GIRL A-MILLION KNEW."
The serial which has been running in the columns of THE SUN and concluded yesterday was exciting enough, but our readers will find in the new serial, which is begun to-day on page 2, .all those, elements that make for a story combining heart interest and moving incidents. The new narrative is entitled "The Girl a Million Knew," and its author is G. Herbert Shaw, whose work has risen steadily in the esteem and appreciation of the most careful critics. The central figure of this serial is a young girl who fights her way through machination and intrigue of a sensational nature to a particularly happy future. The author has called on the stage for some of his finest effects, which he handles with the skill of a craftsman. "The Girl a Million Knew" is a story that should have a strong appeal for women who can appreciate one of their sex confounding evil in a malignant form and winning out nobly. Instalments will appear, every day.
