THE RECHABITES.
The Pride of Christchurch Tent, 1.0. R., met for .its usual fortnightly meeting on Monday, March 2, Bro. Morrison, C.R., in the chair. The usual routine business was transacted. A challenge was received from the Philipson Tent to a debate on Thursday, March 16. The subject selected was, " Which is the Greater Evil, Drinking or Gambling. " Bros. C. H. Bascand, R. H. Taylor, and F. Robson were chosen to represent the Tent. Three new members were initiated .into.*■ the Order. The secretary reported that the district secretary, Bro. Fathers, would be in Christchurch "on Friday, March 6. A united meeting" will be held evening to receive Bro. and * large attendance o'f members is , expected. ,
