Old Pupils’ Annual Dance

KOWHAI SCHOOL MANY DANCERS ATTEND Scots Hall presenteo' a gay scene last evening, when the Kcwhai Old Pupils’ Association held its annual dance. The hall was decorated wit! streamers of red and blue, the assocition’s colours, and tlio same coloui scheme was carried out in the suppei Delightful dance music was playec by the 1 Loyal Syncopators Jazz Band. During the evening a demonstratior was given of the skater's waltz anc the quick step, by Miss A. Welsh and Mr. Grieves, of the Margaret O’Connor Studio. The committee members present were:—Miss D. Read, who wore lime green shot taffeta; Miss Ella Anderson, applo green georgette; Miss Nancj Semple, eau de nil satin beaute; Miss B. Credin, ankle-length frock of turquoise blue taffeta.
