SHIPPING IN TASMAN CHECKED BY GALE MAUNGANUI DELAYED Reed. 10.40 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. Strong westerly gales were experienced by shipping in the Tasman Sea during the past few days. The Maunganui, from Wellington, was retarded by head winds, and bad weather was also encountered by the Gabriella, which is due from Greymouth.
