CAMERA PICTURES
EXHIBITION IN AUCKLAND COLLECTION FROM OVERSEAS The art of the camera can be astonishingly beautiful. The modern photographer has evolved various processes which transform the first hard print of a picture into something which, in appearance, resembles an etching or a black-and-white wash drawing. A big collection, of overseas photographs is at present being arranged for exhibition at the Art Gallery. It should be an inspiration and a joy to Auckland photographers and lovers of pictorial art. Several of the pictures come from Dr. Emil Meyer, president of the Vienna Camera Club. His prints are all bromoil transfers. Others came from the New York Camera Club, and several from England. The exhibition will be opened shortly.
