HOUSE RANSACKED
THIEF AT PENROSE CLOTHES WELL SEARCHED The thief who entered a house at 16 Walls Road, Penrose, occupied by Mrs. Kirkland, made a thorough search of two rooms and went carefully through the clothes of an occupant of the house. A cheque for 30s was removed from one pocket and thrown on the floor, and 45s in cash was missed later.
