The Britannia Theatre, Three Lamp*, and the Prince Edward Thea.tr* Karangahape Road, are both showing “Hit the Heck,” the gorgeously presented musical production based on the famous musical comedy. Polly Walker and Jack Oakie are the stare and there is a big chorus for the popular songs. The Tudor Theatre. Remuera, is showing ‘With Byrd at the South Pole,” tho fascinating film record of daily life and adventurous exploration amid the frozen wastes.
The Grey Lynn Cinema is showing “Sweetie,” a charming schoolgirl romance, starring Nancy Carroll, also views of the sinking of the Tahiti. The Victoria Theatre. Bevonport, is showing "Jealousy,” a powerful drama of love and hate in Paris, starring the great American actress, the late Jeanne Eagels.
