CLAY BIRD SHOOTING
METROPOLITAN GUN CLUB Keen interest was taken in the shoot of the Metropolitan Gun Club held yn Saturday afternoon for a trophy donated by Mr. W. Kearns. Air. E. F. Ramsay was the winner with the possible. Details are:— No. 1, match, seven-bird sweepstake. —C. C. Hodge, 17yds, shot the possible, and the following shot six birds each and divided the second money: E. J. Schofield. 14yds; H■ E. Knight, 14yds; M. Delich, 14yds; G. H. Brown, 16yds; i. Lomas, 3 2yds: G. F. Keene, 15yds: E. M. Barrett, 14yds. No. 2 match, 21 birds, for Air. Ream’s trophy.—L. F. Ramsay, 14yds, shot the possible, and G. E. Browne, 16yds, A. O. Macßeadie, 16yds, J. C. Whitney, 14yds, shot 20 birds each and divided second money. There were 20 competitors. No. 3 match, 10 birds, double rise.—A. E. Hodge. 16yds, and L. Petersen, 15yds, shot nine birds each and divided the stake. G. E. Browne, 16yds, shot eight birds, and took second money, while M. Delich, 16yds, J. S. Whitney, 14yds, and J. JJ. Macfarlane, 11yds, shot seven birds each and divided third money.
