AUCKLANDER IMPRESSED Special to THE SUN WANGANUI, Saturday. Interviewed after he had made an inspection of the Alexander Museum; Wanganui, the director of the Auckland War Memorial Museum. Mr. Gilbert Archey, stated that lie considered the display of sporting fish to be the best in New Zealand at the present time. The Maori collection he considered to bo representative. Mr. Archcy was interested in an old carved post of unusual design and in two small blackstone articles, the use of which has not been determined. A valuable section of the exhibits, in Mr. Archey’s opinion, was the Suter collection of mollusca. which was undoubtedly of great scientific interest.
