FAREWELL EVENING FOR CHURCH WORKER
PRESENTATION AT PAPATOETOE Many friends and well-wishers of Miss Margaret Sanderson met at the Methodist Church Hall, Kolmar Road. Pnpatoetoe, on Wednesday evening, to bid farewell to her, prior to her leaving the district. A very pleasant evening was spent in community games and competitions, interspersed with musical items contributed by Mrs. J. Sanderson, Miss K. Bryant, Messrs. Wesley Firth, E. 11. Burton, L. Kendall. The Rev. A. W. Silvester spoke of the valuable services given to the church by Miss Sanderson, and Mr. Wesley Firth, on behalf of the church members presented their guest with a beautiful travelling rug and church hymnal.
