ENJOYABLE SOCIAL
WELCOME HOME TO WAIKATO MEMBERS OF LEAGUE ALL BLACKS A most enjoyable time was spent at the Town Hall, Huntly, on Tuesday evening, the occasion being the welcome home of Messrs. Abbott, Trautvetter, Stephenson, Timms, Jones and Tittleton, the six Waikato representatives in the New Zealand Deague All Black team which recently toured Australia. All the players were present with the exception of Mr. Tittleton, who was injured a fortnight ago. Among those present were Mr. IT. T. Hill, president, and Mr. A. Waring, secretary of the South Auckland League. Mr. Fred Harris, president of the Taupiri Rugby Union, in appropriate words, welcomed the players home. The guests were entertained with cards, dancing and games. Messrs. Peden's Orchestra supplied the dance music and the Native Band supplied the extras.
