CARNUI ANDREWS has made a re- _ * appearance at headquarters with the somewhat disappointing Carnui, who, despite promise of better things, has so far failed to have his number hoisted on top. The son of El Carbine has not done much racing, and last season he had a fairly easy time of it. Early in the sessions Carnui put up a smart performance at Epsom, when he ran second to First Flight for H. McNaughton. If he can be kept sound when shaped up for serious work he has a chance of giving a useful return. The gelding may go into F. J. Smith’s stable at Epsom later.
