FARMER FOUND SHOT
GUN LYING BESIDE HIM From Our Own Correspondent THAMES, Wednesday. T-he dead body of a Matatoki farmer. Mr. John Joseph O’Brien, was found in bed this morning. His head was badly lnjured, a shotgun lying beside him with a string fi*om the trigger to one toe and the muzzle in his mouth. Mj*. O’Brien had been mentally depressed for some time, but yesterday was in Thames chetting with friends appearing perfectly normal. An inquest will be held tomorrow.
