DEATH FROM BURNS
LORRY DRIVER’S INJURIES Special to THE SUN TAUPO, Wednesday. The death occurred yesterday afternoon of Poi Chase, carting contractor, of Taupo. from injuries received when his lorry caught fire. At an inquest, a verdict was returned that deceased died of shock following burns accidentally suffered. Mr. Chase was drawing benzine from the tank of his motor-lorry to fill the vacuum tank, which had been giving trouble, when a dropped match caused a Arc, and he was severely burned.
