Enjoyable “At Home”

Bridge and Dancing at Officers' Chib Members of tiie Officers* Club were "At Home*’ on Saturday evening in the clubrooms, and a very cheery evening was spent by those who attended the function. The clubrooms presented a very colourful scene, with the brighthued decorations. the charming frocks worn by the guests, and the smart uniforms of their hosts. On arrival, the guests were announced by Lieutenant Menzies, and were presented to Colonel T. 11. Lawson, president of the club, and Mrs. Lawson, who wore a gown of deep begonia-timed lace, the flared skirt Oiling in points to the ankles. A novel competition commenced the evening, and the winners were Mrs. McCorkindaie and Miss Aitken. After this, dancing and bridge were the order of the evening.
